![]() ![]() Alexstrasza: The Dragonqueen is the lynchpin of both Fire-based and Dragon-based synergies, and though she isn’t, strictly speaking, necessary, she’s a big part of the theorycrafting fun on offer in the mode’s current state. The insane healing proportions coupled with the damage reduction on offer with a leveled-up Holy Word: Salvation makes him a must-have for any Human-oriented comp, and his combination with Cariel Roame can basically get you through the entire starting bounty chain. Anduin Wrynn: Simply put, he’s without equal. ![]() Here are the Legendary Mercs you should prioritze. That said, it’s worth highlighting separately just how damn good some of the Legendary Mercenaries are, and why you should consider grinding the coins needed to unlock them at some point to further augment your collection. The primary goal of this guide is to showcase a variety of viable builds you can aim for based on your early Mercenaries pack openings, and we’ve therefore tried to focus on lower-rarity characters wherever possible. This list is for PvE comps – we’ll have a separate PvP Tier List once we gather more data on what’s working and what isn’t! Stay tuned! A Word on the Legendary Mercenaries If you don’t like any of those, we’ll have more ideas for you in the future! It’s also very early into the game, so not every comp has been tested enough yet. Keep in mind that those are just some party comp examples – there are dozens of different synergies you can take into account, and in the normal PvE encounters, most of them will actually work quite well. Though we’re still only getting to grips with the intricacies of Hearthstone’s brand new game mode, superior strategies, and merc lineups are already beginning to emerge for effective solo content grinding. I honestly don't think Blizzard/Activisiion even expected Hearthstone to be this big, and so their team is probably not that big despite it being make wads of cash for the corporation.Update: Added four more party comps! Enjoy! Just look at battlegrounds itself, so many breakable bugs for mobile and other spheres in the game. But I feel like Hearthstone is running on an old game engine that makes any changes hard to implement. And golden cards is such a hollow cosmetic they most people don't care about.Īchievements in a game should be easy to implement. Absolutely no reason to play for packs if you just want to play arena. If you don't strive for a personal goal, such as breaking a 8 win avg on lb, or a 9 win avg, there's barely any incentive. Just look at this long ass delay for a leaderboard I don't even remember. ![]() The goals for arena have to be personal, because the devs doesn't put care into its competitiveness. I don't see BG being a long term answer, but for now it has some viability - also, it doesn't need a massive player base since they could just set up bots for you to beat up LULīattlegrounds is a new mode which means you're addicted to solving the meta.Īrena however after years of playing is very simply to solve. It scales with new sets which is a less time intensive exercise then to create new cards and new heros for BG, and now we know that Blizz will reuse OLD sets in Arena for more meta combinations in the future as well. I still find Arena to be more deep and probably has more longevity. It will come down to how much time Blizz wants to invest in a F2P mode. It seems end game strategies right now are pretty limited, but a couple more minion options and balance fixes will change that easily. I held off on BG until 2 days ago, i've played about 3 hours worth since then and it has been refreshing.Īlthough i am beginning to auto pilot the first couple turns already, I find myself digging for more info to improve at the game which is the fun part of starting something new. ![]()
